New apps updates on Itunes

Why is it that the 'New' section of the App Store only shows the usual suspects that have been there since day one, such as AIM, Enigmo, Omni Focus, etc.
I can never find the newest apps in any order.

Click on ya apps folder you will see updates availble
When browsing in the store click the catories you'll see the newest app starts first (i.e the date)
