So this whole FaceTime thing has gotten me thinking about this new AT&T Mobile Share Plan.

I'm currently on 4G non-LTE data plan because I'm using an iPhone 4S, when the iPhone 5 comes out, I will likely switch to LTE plan, wouldn't AT&T then make me pick the LTE plan from their new Mobile Share Plan anyways?

In this case, should I be picking the LTE version right now so I'm covered in the future?

Thanks,

No, AT&T is keeping the old plans and just adding the new Mobile Share plans. They're not a replacement for the old plans, but an alternative. If it makes sense financially or if you need Facetime over 3G, go ahead and move to one of the share plans. Otherwise you can just stay where you are, and I believe LTE will be available on the old tiered plans as well. I haven't read anything different, but of course, that could all change once the new iPhone is actually announced.
