Hi, I'm new here and would really appreciate if I could get some help. I'm getting different stories from different places and people. Please bear through my explanation - it's very long winded. Sorry.

Here's the background story - I am not a ATT customer. I have been with tmobile for the past 6 years and decided when the new Iphone came out I would make the leap to ATT. So forgive me because I am completely unfamiliar with pre-ordering or ATT/ Apple's policies on Iphone Pre-orders.

Currently my husband and I are on a family plan with tmobile and I planned on getting a family plan with ATT. So this morning at 7AM PST, I went online to ATT's website and placed my pre-order for 2 Iphone 4s with a new family plan. I gave them all my info, my Visa Bank Card and made it through with no interruptions except for being unable to port my old numbers over from Tmobile to ATT.

At 7:57 AM PST, I received an email from ATT, with my order number and the link to check the order. By this time, I had been reading through several forums where people where discussing all the issues with their orders. Plus several threads where some people claimed ATT online orders would get canceled if you used a Bank Card to order, regardless if the card had a Visa or Mastercard logo on it. Also that you could only order one pre-order per household if you were a new customer, which made no sense to me only because I was clearly ordering a family plan with 2 lines.

So I called ATT 1800 number and the CSR informed me that they had no record of my order (not even when I gave hium the order number, my full name, the last four digits of my soc. and my contact info) but based on my above mentioned story which I repeated to him, that my order would be canceled because it was one Iphone 4 Pre-order per household. The CSR told me that my best bet at this point because my order would in all likelihood be canceled due to me ordering 2 Iphones despite getting a family plan with them, that I should go to a ATT store and have them cancel my original order and re-order through them.

By the time I got off the phone with the ATT CSR, it was 11 AM PST. I headed down to the ATT store with a print out of my email from ATT Online with my order number. When I got to the store (it was packed, I spent 45 mins in line), where the nice lady at the register stared at me like I had lost my mind while I explained why I was down there. She, I think her name was Reva, called some number and spoke with someone who apparently told her to call some other dept. At that point, Reva excused herself and retrieved another store employee, who patiently listened through my explanation as to why I was at the store. This second employee excused themselves and both of them went off and fetched the store asst. manager.

The manager proceeded to have me repeat my entire story all over again, at which point she tried checking the system based on my order number off my email. Nothing showed up on their systems, the store manager then called someone at some dept who apparently has "magic" access that no one else seemed to have and informed the manager that my order had been received and was being processed. Also that currently there was no issue but if anything came up I would be contacted in 48 hours. With that, I was sent home with a "Thanks for Coming! Did we answer all your questions?"
Which no they didn't!

So based on my extremely long winded story, as of 10 PM PST, my bank account shows a $1.00 charge from ATT in Bethlehem, PA and when I use the link to check on my order- it shows one Iphone 4 32G and one Iphone 4 16G as being "In progress" and back ordered.

So in short - does this mean my order went through fine and will I be receiving my 2 iphones with my new ATT family plan? Or is the CSR I talked to on the phone correct or the ATT store employees correct? I would just appreciate an answer from anyone who knows how this process works if you a brand new customer to ATT and have never ordered anything from them before. TIA
