New AW7, is this normal?

Is this normal? I thought the glass went down into the frame? Seems like there’s a gap there, where dust / water could get in.

AW7, SS Gold model.

I don’t think it’s normal. I have the exact same watch (Gold SS S7 45mm) and I see nothing like that. I would contact Apple because as you said the water resistance could be impacted

By eyeballing mine, I do not see this gap on my Series 7 SS Graphite 45mm.

Got an appointment for the Apple Store this weekend. Thank you. It didn’t look right, but I only had mine to go off of.
