Wouldn't consider it a batch but some apple store were receiving shipments last week. Oh and they do receive shipments on a daily basis, and the just update stock when it arrives. Was able to score one for my wife in Sierra Blue 256 GB Pro max.
On the phone now trying to get through to Tim Cook. 😁
They always come in shipments, you missed one last week. At least Apple store near me received a bunch of 256 GB Sierra Blue Pro max (like more than 20 units) last Friday (9/30/21).
Give or take, I bet that it will take sometime November to December for the store to have full stock.
As we all know batches mean nothing. If there are issues that us OCD folk notice then they'll remain throughout production of said model
