New Battery

I ordered the replacement battery 15" macbook pro...comes today. Is there any specific way to "break the battery in"? I assume just full charge..how many hours that takes, and go. Or is it more to it? I want this one to LAST! First new battery in 3 years.

Also can you send the old battery to apple or drop it at apple store?

Apple doesn't need your old battery. Just dispose of it properly.
