I just ordered the $79 one with Line Out. Line Out gives
you audio through the data port, not headphone jack.
I'm not affiliated, just a customer. Can't wait to get it!
Works with or without a case via nifty insert.

Why wouldn't the iPhone 5 fit? Assuming they go with a larger screen, the dock was made to fit phones with a wide variety of cases so there should be a bit of clearance on with side..
