So, I feel like a new dad or something... and being a parent has some pretty big responsibilities. I've scanned through the user guide, but i'm pretty sure i have not seen anything about charging the battery before using it. i know with many new products, you have to fully charge the battery before using it. Is this true for macbooks as well? I might just be a little too overbearing, but hey... I got to take care of my baby... haha. So should i do a full charge before i start macbooking or is it okay to just start it up? thanks for helping a newbie

You should calliberate the battery the first time you use it. Don't have the link to hand, but there's a guide on the Apple Support site.

willyeyeam, btw it's worth doing - opinion is divided how often you repeat the calibration process, some advise every month, but others say every 2-3 months (Apple says every few months).
