Doing fresh install and bootcamp after with an apricot solo on my Mac Pro 3,1. Does version 6.0 exist for Mavericks - if so I'll be sensible and make sure I use 5.0 otherwise.

I think Apple will only launch a version 6, or whatever, when Mavericks officially launches. That's what they did with Mountain Lion. There was no public beta testing for Bootcamp.

There's really a beta test - it's called general release! Thanks I'll stick with the proven :D

Sorry for hijacking the thread but, I have a partition with Windows installed. When Mavericks gets released, I will be able to upgrade and still be able to use Windows normally, right?

Yes you will.

Boot camp is only a set of drivers essentially. Not much will change for existing users.

Thought I'd take a punt with BC 5.1 on boot camp installation day - the software for my MP 3,1 isn't available from the update server for Windows 7x64. Sod's law
