New BT keyboard and mouse with BT dongle

I've got a old G4 800mzh 17", that I want to place in my kitchen and need a kb and mouse. Can I get the new BT keyboard and connect it to a BT dongle since the G4 didn't have BT back then, or at least my model don't have it:D

Side note: which BT dongle if possible are recommended?:confused:
