Right There --->
I just got my 15" C2D MBP (base model) from apple store.
I think there is a problem with the iSight camera. The video image shows a flickering horizontal line near the top of the picture.
Is this because of the low-light scenario or you think i should take it back to the Apple store?
Has/Is anyone else also experiencing the same problem?
Your advise would be really helpful.
Thanks!

Turn the lights on. See it that solves the low light scenario. If not, call Apple Care.

PS. is there a little green tally light then the camera is on? If so, there is it coming from? Thanks. :)

I tried it in different light scenarios. The problem still persists. I am going to take it to the Apple store today. Anyone else has any other suggestions/troubleshooting steps? Like reinstalling the driver software for the webcam? I am new to Mac. :)

Drivers? On a Mac? It's all built into the kernal.

Take it back, they'll gladly replace it for you.

I got my C2D MBP replaced at the Apple store. This was the first complaint they had encountered with the new MBPs and the rep also added that problems with isight were rare. They also transferred all my settings and data using a firewire 800 cable. :)
