new carrier - imessage problems

hi there,
my company moved from Vodafone to O2 (Germany), and now iMessage doesn't work anymore although we get to keep the phone numbers. Do I need to change anything in the setup?

Turn iMessage off, then back on and let it re-do its activation.

The activation sometimes takes a bit; it has to send a text message to Apple to verify your phone number. Meanwhile you can iMessage using your E-mail address.

Yesterday I switched over from AT&T to T-Mobile and had to do the same thing. Worked right away for me though....

I talked to the o2 service line and they fixed it, good to be back
