The following in a little pop up box was waiting for me when I plugged my iPhone into iTunes this morning:

An update to the carrier settings for your iPhone is available. Would you like to download it now?

When I clicked on the info icon, it led me to this:

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1970?viewlocale=en_US

There's no real explanation there. I have a JB's iphone 4s

Anyone have a clue as to what this upgrade may do?

You don't specify your carrier, but if you are concerned about applying the update you might want to check your carrier's web site or call their customer support for more info.

I got that same message this morning, I'm on Verizon. I did the update and so far I don't notice any difference.

So Far, So Good on Jailbroken Verizon 4S

Updated a little while ago with no ill effects.

Changes Carrier on About screen to Verizon 11.3 from 11.2.

Plus, TetherMe still works.
