i noticed a picture of a different charger on apple's site for the 3g iphone under tech specs

it also looks like a dock no longer comes with the phone (cost cutting).

Guess time will tell if the new one fits in the old dock, but if its ANY wider, (as tight as the current iPhone is in the current dock), I dont think the new one will fit.
