New checkmark in 10.7.3 - How to replace with 10.7.2 Version

I know this sounds like a really strange and nitpicky question, but the new checkmark in Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3 (and Mountain Lion as well) looks worse than the checkmark in 10.7.2, and it's bothering me. I would like to revert to the checkmark in 10.7.2 - I'm sure there's some way to "fix" this with some kind of core services file or replacing a resource in 10.7.3 with one from 10.7.2. Any ideas or any knowledge how I can do that?
