"Cliffs of Dover", not "Call of Duty", a flight sim made by 1C, who did IL-2 Sturmovik(!)

May be overall better then MS Flight or X-Plane

No plans by 1C to make a Mac version, but how interested are Mac uses to buy one IF they did make one?

As it is, the forumties dont think it is enough of a market share.

I think that in the grand scope of things, flight sims make up a pretty small percentage of the game market. So if Mac games have a very small segment of the market already, how big do you really think the Mac flight sim market is?

that looks cool actually...

I just get bored of FPS games, and when you put COD I thought it was call of duty so I never read the thread :p

You declare there is no market for Mac gaming because of the lack of response to a generic looking game in an arguably niche genre at a staggeringly high price?

Agreed at your assessment. If I was interested in a Flight Sim style game (I'm not), and liked war style game (which I do), I might consider it, but it does seem like a steep price to pay. Flight sim games are niche enough, war games are niche but bigger; so merge them together and get a smaller market and then complain huge people aren't interested?

Putting COD means Call of Duty, it pretty much owns that acronym now

That is what I was looking for, reactions to the title and genre.

Yes, "COD" is pretty much owned by Call of Duty, so is it a ploy by the publishers, UBI, to try and tap into it?
Likely.

The "game" itself may be much more like a "sim" the likes of MSFS/MS Flight then a game. It includes some non-combat aircraft.

It had about 5 year of development behind it, so it is completely brand new engine and aircraft models.
Of NOTE, this game has vehicles and the developer has discussed the possiblity of making them playable, in future version.

it was an interesting posts, thanks
