I have recently bought a new LG Combo drive (GCC-4480B) (16x DVD-read, 48x/24x/48x).

The problem I am having is playing DVD's using 'Video LAN Client'. The Video keeps stuttering but the Audio is fine. Is there a way to fix this problem, another dvd player or possible to use Apple DVD Player with this thing?

Also the drive doesn't burn in the Finder or in iTunes because it says there are no drivers. Is there an update or patch?
The Drive works in Toast Titanium.

I have used a Sony DVD-Read drive on my computer before to play DVD's well in VLC and also I have used a Sony CD-RW before and it worked in iTunes and the Finder. Sure they are different brands but still third party.

My system is a Power Mac G4 466 DA.

Thanks

Ok I got the Burner to work in iTunes through a patch at http://forums.xlr8yourmac.com/actio...ending&-maxrecords=100&okaytopost=yes&-search

And have found out how to install Apple DVD player using Pacifist.

But I haven't found out how to make it work under the Finder.

Apple DVD player came up with a thing called "Region Code" and it says I can change it 5 times. If I change it more than 5x will the DVD-ROM become useless? Is there a crack for it?

Thanks
