NEW completely clear Ultra Hybrid

Took them long enough to come out with a clear one. The brown color one they came out with for the gold is hideous. This is perfect for the gold imo.

I've had mine for a couple days and so far it looks great on the gold! Its got a nice grip but doesnt feel too wide. Definitely feel it could take a decent drop

Does the back, inside scratch easily?

I had the black hybrid and when I took the phone out of the case, the chamfered edges made a nice scratch on the inside of the case, which basically ruined its appearance

I could see the case scratching, but scratches on a case on a white phone are not nearly as visible on a black background. I have had both. My polycarbonate case has some scratches, but they really do not show up against the white or light gold color.

Does all clear TPU turn yellow? I recently bought a Diztronic TPU case that has a clear raised lip around the display. Hope that doesn't discolor, although I have a solid black model of the same case as a spare.

I have yet to see a clear TPU case that did not discolor. As a matter of fact, some colored TPU cases discolor..

Just put this one on. Nice for the gold. buttons work great, and more grip than the powersupport air jacket that I also use off and on. Still like the look of the air jacket better, but this seems more protective.

What causes TPU to discolor? Is there any way to mitigate the problem?

TPU is porous, so dyes, dirt, and whatever else can get caught in the pores and cause discoloration.

I have this and the Powersupport Air Jacket too. Both are nice, just don't like the open corners of the Ultra Thin Air Crystal quite as much as the Powersupport design, but both have pros/cons. Both look super on the gold!
