Ok my sisters PC took a dump (imagine that) the other day so I had to restore the thing back to stock so she had to reload iTunes. But now if she plugs in her iPhone 4 it doesn't know it. If she syncs it with the computer, since its just like a new computer now, will she loose anything?

I think if she logs into her iTunes account on the pc before plugging in the iPhone it should be OK.

Even with doing the above steps there's a chance it will wipe it. However it should warn you before it trys to.

I just did this and I am a very techy person and I spent 1 hour on the phone with Apple to get it done. Not at all easy. My problem is that all of my music is mine and not purchased through the itunes store. Even though I have separated all of my music and pictures to their own directories to sync, it took a long time that day to get it back as I wanted.

Have a good day,
