New computer to sync with

I bought a new iMac, and want to sync my iPhone with it from now on. I transfered all my itunes library files, music, and mobile applications to the correct folder, but when I synced my iPhone, it started deleting EVERYTHING!

I have important banking account information on my phone that I do not want to delete. How do I sync my iphone with my new computer without deleting everything I have?
