New computer vs iTunes vs iPad?

I plan to buy a new computer.

My iPad 2 is linked to iTunes which is installed in my current computer.

What will happen if I buy a new computer?

How can I transfer iTunes to my new computer?

How can I transfer my playlists?

Will I have to reinstall everything in my iPad?

Start there. Once everything is moved over, open iTunes for the first time and hold 'Option' on Mac and I think 'Shift' on a Windows machine. At that point, iTunes will ask you where your .itl (library file) is. Point it to the new location and you're good to go.
