new De La Sol Apple switch ad

Apple has posted yet another new celebrity "Switch" commercial, this time featuring the popular music group De La Soul. In the ad, they say that they've created a lot of their songs a Mac, and declare that the Mac is "a great brain."

I was wondering when they were going to appeal to the hiphop crowd.
 
There getting a really nice selection of celebs - but I think they should do some more along the lines of Will Ferrell. Maybe they'll get Bradshaw and company to do one for a SuperBowl spot - that would be damn funny. ;)

I just finished downloading it.

One thing I've noticed about all these celebrity ads is they're not really 'switch' ads, like they don't tell a little story about why they're currently using a Mac vs. a PC, they just say why they're using Macs without mentioning the PC at all.

Some food for thought.
 
Okay, you need to target everyone with a switch commercial:

Kids- some music celeb (or teens)
Men- someone very popular and prominent- (no idea who)
Women- OPRAH@!
Older people-- stars from their time.

And don't forget about the pop music crowd. Use Britney for that. ;) Hope she uses a Mac. :rolleyes:
 
It would be funny if she were singing to the iMac:

"Oh baby, baby, the reason I breathe is u!" and point at it, and it nods it's lamp head! I luv the iMac, b/c it's kinda humanlike
 
It would be cool if britney spears did a switch and did the exact
same dance from her 'stronger' music video, but instead of using
a chair, she used the new g4 iMac. That would be... interesting.

where'd you download it? is there any way to get it from the apple web site, or did you get it somewhere else?
 
Gee, glad they're only hiring the big names!

I know I have heard of them. Not sure why and from when. 1993 maybe?

Now if only they could hire Jeff Goldblum. That would sure draw the big crowds!
