So Dell finally released the UltraSharp U2410 in the USA today.

This looks to be a great IPS 24" LCD
3 year warranty
Great exchange policy if there are dead pixels.

It has an extremely adjustable stand compared to the Apple LED.

No glossy screen either

It also comes with a "Color Calibrated Factory Report" whatever that means.

Anyway, I just ordered one for 20% off the list price $599, so it was $479 plus tax at the Dell Small Business Store (you don't really need a business unless you are trying to get it tax free.)

That thing looks sweet, but it is out of my price range right now. Now, if I find a 20% off coupon for the 2209WA, I might be sporting a new dual monitor setup.

If this model ends up as good as the 2209WA, it may be my next monitor.

The 2408 is an S-PVA panel. This is an H-IPS panel as used in the Apple displays.
