Are the new iPhone 6's in store yet? Or will the demo tables not be until release day?

Won't be any demos until the 19th. They want it to be like Christmas morning with kids running into the store to see their new presents.

Release day is what I was told. Heck, the demos do not even have iOS 8 on them till Wednesday.

Maybe some of the managers may have one on hand but not the display tables.

Ya no new products until actual launch. It would sabotage current 5S and 5C sales.

Also, I've heard on launch day there is no browsing allowed. Only people coming to pick up/buy a phone and leave?

Do you not think that the announcement of the new phone has already ruined any potential 5s and 5c sales?!

Maybe not. I was at the bar a couple of nights ago and ppl have no idea the new phones are coming out

If they're that clueless then they'd probably walk past the display with the new phones on anyway then! It's been all over not just the tech news but the normal news too!

That is because they were stewed and probably could not remember anyways. :)

Do not know how it could be missed. It was in most every newspaper and on most radio stations.

You'd be surprised how many people don't know the iPhone 6 is coming out or when it's coming out.

Then keep in mind that if you didn't pre order, you won't get one for a few weeks and most people aren't willing to camp out. Also, the 5S and 5C are cheaper.

I wonder how many folks walk into an Apple Store and buy a 5S without a clue that the 6 is almost here. And I also wonder if the Apple employees mention that there is a new one coming, or if they keep their mouths shut.

You think they would mention it considering the 14 day return policy unless they flat just want a sale.

I'm not sure why or how they missed it but I do know this.. It will give me more opportunity to get what I want

I need to browse, trying to determine between the two sizes. I'm so far pretty settled on the 6+. I'm not due for upgrade until 10/18/14 so there is no need to preorder yet.

In the past demo has never been till launch day. On a somewhat plus.

If you're waiting in line launch day they typically walk around with a few units so you you check them out.

I was just in the downtown Philadelphia Apple Store and they only had 5S/5C models on the floor as of tonight.

I don't expect to see them in stores until release day, Sept. 19th (Friday).

Do you guys know if they have iPhone 6 cases in stores yet?

EDIT: I meant the official iPhone 6 cases in the Apple stores

You'd be surprised. Once you get to the front of the line they have a method of once one customer leaves the store, they let another one in. When you do get in the store, it feels just like a normal day at the apple store. You could browse for cases with the specialist who's helping you or even buy a computer while you're there. They don't want you to feel rushed.
