Hi, im going to buy a new Display next week, and im down to two screens, hope someone here can help me to choose.

First og all, Im not a gamer and i will not watch movies on the monitor.

Samsung 24" LCD Syncmaster 2443BW (1920x1200, VGA/DVI, 20000:1, 5ms)

Samsung 22" Wide Syncmaster T220 (1680x1050, VGA/DVI, 20000:1, 2ms)

Get the 22". The T series is nicer than the BW series.

I have a 2253BW and the whites are a bit yellowy. My friend's T200 is awesome.
 
Get a 20". The 22" monitors have the same resolution as 20" ones, and you can get them cheaper and the image will be better, because the pixels will be more densely packed.

As an alternative, I'd suggest the Dell 2209wa, which has an IPS panel rather than the lower-quality "TN" type panel the Samsung has.

You can get these for about $206 or so right now, directly from Dell, with the right coupon code (check dealmac).

The 22" has a slightly larger dot pitch than the 24" models - less squinting, especially for us older folks!
