Is there any new technology going into these displays on the 2011 MacBook Pros, or are they the same exact displays used on the 2010 models? Anyone know? Are these panels brighter/higher color gamut, or anything different? There doesn't seem to be any change in the resolution offerings, or anything I can see about these new displays that is different from the 2010 MBP offerings.

The only thing really changed in the graphics department is the graphics card offerings, with the new AMD card in the top offering being better than the nVidia 330M.

The display would be one of the main reasons I would upgrade to a 2011 model over a 2010, if they offered something like a 1920x1080 16:9 display on the 15" model, or offered a 1440x900 antiglare option on the 13" model, but it seems there is no real difference

Wondering this myself, but I doubt it. It wouldve been noted if it was improved.
