I was wondering if this is going to be a retina based display, is this using a new display technology that is much different to what the imac has now? and so no such problems could be present?

I know its too early to tell, but maybe someone has info on the new tech..

Er, the iPad forum is flooded with complaints of retina displays with yellow tints.

I'm talking about the yellow tint issues people often talked about on this forum, some people tried replacing their iMacs up to 5 times and still had this issue..

There is no yellow tint on my iMac. The whites are the closest to real as any of I've ever seen.

The yellow tint is all about the time from manufacture to purchase. It's glue. It dries clear. Sometimes it doesn't dry before it goes on sale. Normal use clears it up. That's all..

Whether the suggested IGZO displays use a different manufacture process with no/less/different glue, no idea.
