new drive stopped working

i have a 2003 eMac, i installed a new drive (SONY DRU 530A INTERNAL 8X DVD ±R/±RW CD-RW IDE WTY) it worked, until my friend tried to get naive dvd burn support, but never finished. heres the page. any and all help is aprectiated, just tell me if you need anymore information
