New DVD burner...getting toast

My new DVD burner will play CDs and DVDs and burn CDs, but will not burn DVDs through the finder.

Will getting TOAST definitely enable me to burn DVDs? I don't really need it otherwise and I would rather not buy it unless it will definitely enable me to burn DVDs.

IIRC, you can only do Finder DVD burns on Apple-shipped drives (i.e. the SuperDrive). At least this is the case with my external Sony burner. So yes, Toast will do the trick.
