New DVD Drive to go with a new iMac

Moving from my 2008 iMac which has a built in drive to a new 2013, without one. I need a drive. I would get the SuperDrive; however, I've seen a number of complaints about it. Any suggestions on a good drive - small footprint - USB?

I have this one - cheap, works fine, and even reads Blu-Ray discs which is nice to bring Blu-Rays into iTunes.

While there are plenty of options, the Apple drives works just fine. I have one on my Mac mini at work and one on my new iMac at home. The only complaint I have is the short cable (and the drive doesn't like extension cords).

DVD/Blu-ray drive for MAC

I bought the following Pioneer drive and have had good luck with it. I decided for a few dollars more I would get a combination DVD/Blu-Ray writer. Here is the link:
