My girlfriend just got a new iPod Touch (3rd gen), and when she gets new e-mail, she gets a little blue pop-up on her lock screen with a couple of lines previewing the body, similar to a push notification even though her e-mail server is fetch.
On my 1st gen iPod Touch I can't make anything like that happen. The best I can do is have it do the beep, and that works, but there's no visual pop-up.
I'm running the same up-to-date OS version as her, and we're both on the same mail server. How can I enable this for me? (Besides swapping mine with hers and seeing if she notices...
)
