Western Digital has some really nice new ones out, too. Personally, I'd buy the Iomega, but that's because I already have a MyBook...

I imagine Iomega use Seagate or WD drives.

Personally I am happy with my 2 drives from IcyDock - http://www.icydock.com/product/images/mb559_black_white_lag.jpg

They are USB2 / Firewire 800 and contain no fans so noise free, I use the white version.

I hope so, I've had good experience with Seagate, and I've heard very good things about WD.
