New Facebook update killing battery life?

Anyone else's battery life seem worse after updating this app? I can't find any other reason why my battery life has gotten worse all of a sudden.

My iPhone has been running warmer since updating Facebook also. Very discouraged about this update.

My battery life has gone down the toilet today immediately after updating the app also. Sitting at 47% a few hours after I left the house at 80% after listening to music for 30 or minutes with a bit of emails and web browsing. Normally I would lose 5-10% by now.

Going to try the phone with the Facebook app not in multitasking tray to see if it's an improvement.

my battery is no worse after the FB update then it was before. other than the fact that ios 6.1.3 its a battery hog all in itself vs 6.1.2, i dont see FB causing an issue.
