I see the 6 new watch faces but other than color of backgrounds what's really new about "portrait" and "modular" and lastly "astronomy" they seem the same to me other than color of backgrounds and with astronomy the new earth random choice.

*in actuality there are only 3 new faces as the above are not new.

They screwed up modular and took away choices.
I had to turn the phone on and off and the watch on and off to get the new nike etc faces

I can't put the date in the middle and I can't just get temp on temperature
You never could do the date... my old modular does not allow that nor does this "new" one I'm looking at both right now. but I can choose temp on either and get just the temp in a circle with high low at ends of circle.

I am looking at the watch I didn't update yet and I have the date in the middle and the temp is now in a semi circle with the range and the number in the middle rather than just the temp(sorry the picture is so big-I resized it smaller)

in the large center of modular? my wife's didn't update and its not a choice on her S7 without watch ios9. nor does she have just numbers anywhere I can see for temp.

are you saying you can do that on the updated watch or that you can't do it on the non-updated watch. But sorry did not mean to hijack your thread. I will search elsewhere to see it can be done.

You are talking about 2 different watch faces...
In watchOs 8 there are "modular" and "infograph modular".
WatchOs 9 killed the first "modular" and renamed the other one removing "infograph"
