New feature I didn't see anything about

I don't know if this is new with Watch OS 5 or just the Series 4 but I noticed that when the screen is OFF, if I scroll with the Digital Crown my watchface slowly fades in, I thought this was a nices feature to have.

Been there for a few years. Nice for discretely checking time in a theater etc.
