So I just got around to importing some of my photos for the first time since using iOS 11. Something new to iOS 11 (and I assume the HEIF functionality) is that when I imported the photos (to Windows 10) it created a second copy of any edited photos. The second copy (named for example IMG_E0966) is the photo with all the edits applied. I REALLY like this feature as I always like keeping both the original and the edited version. In the past I would have to go through some extra steps to get the edited version onto the PC. Now it's automatic. NICE!
