iPod touch New Firmware?

Couple of questions, is anyone hearing any strong buzz on the next firmware update and what it will entail? Also, why do people think a new larger touch will be out in January?

People think there is going to be an ipod touch with bigger capacity in january because there are already new flash based players made from other companies that have 32gb of flash memory. While they could come out with an upgraded touch in january, I think they'll probably wait, considering it will probably be a little while until players go past 32gb, and since the touch just recently came out, it would give them some time to space the next upgrade. Also, since january is right after christmas people might get upset, although apple does surprise sometimes.

what about any new firmware? flash based browsing?? i still can't believe Apple did not include this.
