Just saw this at the Apple Store - More price cuts for the G5?

I wonder how you can get the Dual 2Ghz for $2699 ? Even if you remove the superdrive and modem that still leaves $2770. Maybe this is just another mistake like the G5 leak ?
 
That's what I was thinking as well - another case of 'premature specification'?

Maybe this is one of the surprises they are planning for Friday. Additionally, I think this is a good indicator that new G5s are coming out at the expo in Jan. Seems to follow Apple's pattern of trying to clear out inventory before a new model is introduced.
 
Could be educational pricing - I've checked the educational store a couple of times, but not recently. The other odd thing was that when I clicked thru, the standard pricing still came up. Guess we'll see in the next few days whether it was a mistake or not...
