New Gal Needs Help ( Can't view You tube on Safari ) black videos,no loading?

Hi, Sorry for this stupid question but my MacAir played You Tube videos yesterday but today when I try to play each video the video does not load and it's just a small black screen where the video would normally play. I can access You Tube but can't play videos?????
