New GPS software for iphone from ALK copilot

So, I have used this software on other platforms for about, oh eight years now. It really is quite good, and they do a lot of application development on it. for the money, currently 43$ US, I would buy this NO QUESTION if only it was available in the USA.

I know that ALK has used TeleAtlas data in Europe for a number of years, but used their own data I believe for USA mapping. THAT might be an issue, but if this is 40$ anytime soon in the USA I'll buy it.
