I have a PowerMac G5 Quad with the NVIDIA GeForce 7800GT graphics card, I just got the ATI Radeon X1900 from Santa so I can run 3 monitors. The problem is giving power to the 2 cards, before I disconnect my system does anyone know if the G5 has power sources for both these graphics cards on the logic board or somewhere else ?

Thanx

Rich

thanks

I'll look into that, just a little nervous with a couple of reviews on NewEggg but worth a shot

Thanks.

can someone tell me what amperage the 12v rail on his PSU is

On the power supply it will say something like 12v 30A. It should be more than 30A to power both cards but thats just an example

Also if it says 12v1 25A and 12v2 25A Thats just like 50A :)
