New Hard Drive help

Hey guys. I'm kinda new to macs and laptops in general so I am unsure what hard drive I need to buy to replace my current one that happens to have died. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I looked in other forums and the Buyer's Guide but it didn't seem to talk specifically about hard drives.

I have a basic Macbook and am not looking for anything more than like $100.

As long as the drive is SATA and 2.5 form factor it should work though.

The drive you linked would not work because it is not SATA, it is parallel ATA.
