by mousepad I assume you mean the trackpad?

If you could clarify that it would help others to be sure of your question.

I'm kinda 100% certain he meant trackpad lol. I've yet to hear of a mousepad that stopped working due to upgrading the hard drive in the computer lol.

Don't you have to disconnect the trackpad cable in order to remove the keyboard cover to get to the hard drive?

Maybe you forgot to reconnect it.

lol... track pad yes...

ill have to take this apart again and check the connection. YEA !

and my 5 broke one of the clips !... so either i find a new #5 or get a new keyboard....

BUT I am still happy I changed it myself and got it working with ease.

thanks for the replies !

OK...

I forgot to plug in the damn track-pad !!!!

thank god i dident have to take apart more then removing the keyboard as the plug is right there under the keyboard.

Thanks for all the replies and advice and help my MacRumors people !

Yay, I win!

Just kidding :D

Yes... sorry... i should have mad an extra thanks to you .....

and thank you... you were right...

and by the way.. since i closed up and put the keyboard back in without plugging it in I bent the 4 prongs on the circuit so I had to CAREFULLY straighten them !
