Hi All,

As the tread suggests i'm looking to get a new hard drive. I have a PowerMac G5 Dual Core 1.8 and currently have a 150GB hard drive which is looking a bit full. With this in mind I would look to get a second HD either 250GB or 500GB, this way I can split work and play onto two hard drives.

I was just after a couple of suggestions if there are go or bad options available?

Having a look around a couple of options I found where either;
IBM (Hitachi) Deskstar T7K250 SATAII 250.0GB 8MB - £47.86
IBM (Hitachi) Deskstar 7K500 SATAII 500.0GB 16MB - £97.01

Alternatively is it a better idea to just have one big hard drive than two smaller drives.

Many thanks for any advise.

Keith

Go for the 250GB one, you will more than double your hard drive capacity and only spend 50 quid, you probably wont use all of the 500gb one so 250 is a much better option. :)
