Hi folks...

Currently I have a 120GB hard drive in my MacBook. However, recently I've had many reasons to use larger files on my computer (such as VMs, X-Plane scenery, etc).

I've been looking on sites like Newegg for a good sized hard drive (at least 160GB) for $100 or less. I found a Western Digital 500GB 5400RPM 2.5" drive that looks like it would be just fine, but I just thought I'd ask here to make sure it would be a wise decision. There is also a Hitachi alternative to that, $10 cheaper. However, I've heard Western Digital drives are more reliable and less likely to crash.

Does anyone have any good suggestions? Thanks.
