New Harddrive

Hi

I need to purchase a new Mac hard drive as mine has died.

Will any hard drive do? Or do I need to get a mac specific hard drive?

I assume you have a 2006-2012 Mac Pro. If that is the case, any standard 3.5" SATA hard drive will do. I think the one exception is that there are some 6TB drives that have a hole pattern that won't mount.
