Is there a way to make a new Hard drive icon for the one on your desktop. If so, how?

If you want to change these items, use CandyBar. You can download icons from Xicons. You can also make custom icons for yourself, just do a search on VersionTracker.

You can download HD images from many icon websites, all you have to do is copy the image, then paste it into the preview window in Get Info.
