hello,

i've just installed a new hard drive in my macbook pro, clean installed ML, transferred everything over from the old drive via migration assistant.

now, on attempting to back up to the original external drive as used with the old disk, time machine skips the 'next back up' time when it is reached and gives another time further ahead.

it recognises the drive as a time machine disk, and i can enter time machine and see my history as normal. it just seems to be taking a long time on 'preparing backup' if i select the disk via the TM preferences pane to avoid it 'skipping'.

any suggestions are much appreciated.
