New headset w/mic for new iMac

Hello, looking for a great headset with mic for my incomming 27" imac.
I assume i need a USB headset since the iMac only has a jack 3.5 out?

You will need a USB mic. Or something like a Griffin iMic. The macs line-in isnt powered, so you would need to have a self powered mic. I personally use an iMic if it helps.
