New HeartBeats Earbuds... Anyone tried them?

I'm curious. Some day my Shure's will fail and I'll need a cheaper replacement. Not shelling out another $400 for earbuds!
 
I listened to the over the ear headphones. They sound amazing! The ear buds were there but boxed. They don't have a mic, which limits their use for me.

i bought the Dre Beat Solos though.

Personally, I thought the solos were garbage and returned them immediately. The only beats w/ decent sound are the studios but they are massive on ones head and don't justify a 300.00 pricetag...
 
i love em. slimmer than the studios, loud, has a mic and play/pause button.
and i got them for $90. considering their $170 pricetag, i think i got a great deal.
 
Yeah, that's a steal! That's the pricetag that should be on them anyways. To me, the sound quality was no better than some janky skullcandys (the highs were too murky in my opinion)...

Lady Gaga designed ear buds?...Have you ever seen Lady Gaga? She couldn't design a paper sack...I'll pass! :eek:

There's no need to make these sorts of comments. I'm simply asking if anyone on the forums has tried them. I'm not forcing anyone to buy anything they don't like. If you don't like the way they look or don't like Lady GaGa for some reason, please don't make rude comments. :(

If it were a dude looking for Dre buds, just go for the Dre Tours.
 
I got a pair and I love them. I have a problem with in ear headphones because I have huge ears and they usually fall out when I walk but the heartbeats fit perfectly in my ear, nice and snug. Don't know what makes the difference but they feel great and I love how they sound. They do a pretty good job at blocking out sound and I love that I can raise the volume all the way up and people around me can't hear them. The design is really nice too. I got the blacks for me and the silver ones as a gift for my partner and I have to say the silver ones look the best. Originally I bought the red ones but exchanged them for the blacks. The red ones look nice in the box but they are actually painted a dull color and they don't shine when the lights hit them. The grey ones look really nice in the ear. Almost like an earing. I don't know if they are really worth the $100 or not but I'm a lady GaGa fan so I don't care. I saw her wearing them in her music video and I wanted them. I think in the end that's what it really boils down to. If you like Lady GaGa and her style then you'll be happy with the headphones.

Oh I forgot to add that what I like most about them is that they fit in the original iPhone recessed headphone jack without the need of any adapter. That just made me realize that they really did pay close attention to all aspects of the design.

I ordered mine on Monday and got them today so the shipping was pretty fast especially for free shipping. If that coupon code still works thats not a bad deal they sound pretty good to.
